Hey bee Hey, Blogger bee here with another Taste Of Honey! Today I am buzzing around on Woodland Lane. A lot of our Bees with Dyslexia live there in the hive. I received a message from one of our Bees with Dyslexia wanting a Taste of Honey from Momma Bee. Many of our bees with Dyslexia play a very important role in the hive. They work with the scouts (our Real Estate bees) and alert the hive when we are moving and where we are moving by doing the waddle dance. But some of our newer bees are very concerned with finding employment. Fall weather is slowly creeping in. Which means winter is close behind.

During the winter Honey Bees hunker down and live off the honey they have stored. With the ever-changing economy as well as political climate so many bees don’t have any honey stored up. Because this society often deems dyslexia as a disease defined as having lack of intelligence our waddle (dyslexic) bees are asking Momma Bee for a little Taste of Honey.

A Taste Of Honey!

Momma Bee, so many of our Waddle Bees are needing some tips on getting back into the workforce. With societies stereotype of dyslexia many are running into roadblocks. In this economy many business owners feel like hiring our waddle bees is risky and they have underestimated their intellectual gifts. Can you give the Bees a taste of honey a taste of honey to help them find fulfilling careers where their intellectual gifts can be heard?

Momma Bee

The concept that dyslexia is a disease that can be defined as lack of intelligence is only spread by people with lack of knowledge. Some of the very people we sit in an audience at NBA games and cheer on are Waddle Bees.

Basketball player in red jersey celebrates passionately on court with fists clenched. Scoreboard and crowd visible in blurred background.

Michael Jordan: Not only is a well-known athlete but a very good businessman. The decades-long partnership between Nike and Jordan is one of the biggest deals in sports, and has earned Jordan over $1 billion.

Imagine Michael Jordan being called a risk right before he secured the biggest deal in history with the shoe Brand Nike. What if he had listened?

Maggie Aderin-Pocock is a well-known Black female scientist and is the first African woman to win a gold medal in the Physics News Award.

Imagine Maggie listening to the naysayers on the sidelines telling her that her intellectual abilities were limited due to dyslexia?

Smiling woman in a starry dress holds a doll and telescope. Large moon backdrop. Mood: joyful and cosmic.

The list goes on and on. From Harry Bellafonta to Muhamad Ali who started an organization to bring awareness to dyslexia.

Career choices are abundant because the waddle bee carries a special quality of being able to create, build and develop programs that require a unique lens to see.

Mechanical Technician

If you are someone who loves working with their hands this may be the career for you. This job is highly practical and often involve assembling, or testing mechanical systems. These are all tasks that rely more on logic, and spatial awareness than reading and writing.

Oprah Winfrey is another person who has openly spoke on her dyslexia.  Let the bees know that if they are looking for options and assistance in finding a career where they are valued and they can maake a difference reach out to the Hive. Lets go over that resume and get your buzz back.

And the next time someone underestimates your intelligence drop that BOTJ Resume like an open mic and do the Waddle Dance.

Well Thank you Momma Bee for giving our waddle Bees a taste of honey.

My daughter lives and thrives with dyslexia at 30. Honestly, I held her back a couple of years because I didn't understand her struggle, but baby when I found out her amazing superpower in math, I was speechless. She helped me with college level math. To this day she does math problems to relax. , is an Amazon trainer and a wonderful Super Mom! Dyslexia is a superpower like many people . The dyslexic mind is beautiful and sees the world with such spatial ease. Also, with the amount of assistive technology and AI tools why is it an issue. On any note please stay encouraged, Your Amazing and Highly gifted, this I know for sure!

Type of bee: Widow Bee

Blog Name: Bee Prepared: Widow Bee Career Coaching

Date of the Blog: July 9th, 2025

This resonates with me because of the lifetime spent chasing what is considered normal, upstanding and right but never leaving room to be inclusive. Only to be disappointed or depressed by what some may refer to as underperforming characteristics. Theres so much power after realizing being different can and is okay and acknowledging there are multiple ways to solutions. Life can be better with grace for self and others.

TRIVIA ANSWER

Name of blog - Be Prepared Widow Bees Career Coaching

Date of blog - July 9, 2025

This post resonates with me because I often fear unexpectedly losing my spouse and becoming a widow bee. Though I didn't intend to be, I am currently a stay-at home mom caring for school age twins with 2 medical conditions. I struggle with seeing the value in my current job skill set the longer I stay out of the workforce. Would I be able to reinvent myself and make a sustainable living if me husband passed on?

Blog post: Bee Prepared: Widow Bees Career Coaching

A wife or widow bee possesses these qualities. This resonates with me because as a wife, the work never ends. I never realized the amount of work needed to run a family and how those were transferred skills.
