Well, Blogger Bee, the main reason why people procrastinate is that when we experience a setback, it throws us off our course. Many times, we spend so much time reliving the event that changed our routine that we are too stuck to start another one. In January, when this whole country experienced a change, many of our Bees that were solidified in Federal and other various careers suddenly became unemployed. Many of these Bees had been at their job for ten years—some had just started their careers in the federal arena or were in the last step of receiving grants for their DEI programs—when the orders came down and changed the path.

There is no time to rehearse the tragedy. It is time to restructure.

You have a plethora of transferable skills, but no one will ever know if you are busy rehearsing your tragedies instead of preparing for your triumph. If you are returning to the job market but bringing your old skill set with you, then you will never get back in the job; you will just stay in the market.
