Sting of the Yellow Jackets

Hey Bee Hey! Blogger Bee here to bring you another Taste of honey. In our live show last week, the Queen Bee revealed how she was able to recover after a very poisonous bite from a Yellow Jacket that slipped into her household. Well, today I am going down on Daisy lane to talk to some of our bees that are just getting back from Tree Cavity Road. So many of our Bees have been stung by the Yellow Jackets that nest over on Tree Cavity Road. Once you get trapped there, it is sometimes difficult to get away. Today, a few of our Bees that are recovering on Daisy Lane asked if I could get them a Taste of Honey from Momma Bee.

 Being stung by a Yellow jacket is very painful and the recovery time can take a while. The Bees are asking for some tips from Momma Bee  on how they can start the recovery process and also find a way to not be so embarrassed by the bite marks the Yellow Jacket has left on their backs.

A Taste Of Honey

Momma Bee some of our Bees have been ripped apart, stung and, left with no honey and no way to make honey after they were stung by the Yellow Jackets. They are just too weak and embarrassed to work. Can you give me a taste of honey so we can get them back on their feet?

Momma Bee looked at me and said bring one of the big jars over. This is a hard situation and will take several different jars of honey to help get the injured bees back on their buzz.

Before you can feed them the honey, you have to understand the sting of the yellow Jacket.

Humans usually call men who are prone to Domestic Violence, abusers. In the hive we call them Yellow Jackets. Yellow Jackets are often mistaken for Bees. Yellow Jackets or abusive men often look like Bees or husbands. However, they are a breed of wasp or narcissist. They have slick conversations and are known to be smooth operators. Many Bees have been deceived by the “Yellow Jackets”! One of the biggest deceptions is convincing you that you are helpless and need them. The Yellow Jackets are famous for their strategic attack on your self-worth. Well, Momma Bee is here to tell you that unbeknownst to the abuser they have actually been instrumental in helping you to acquire some very strong skills that are 100 percent employable. And as a Bee we all know that skills pay bills!! Let's do a skill set check so we can grab some honey!

Survivors of domestic violence often possess a range of transferable skills that can be valuable in the workplace.

Resilience: The fact that you have survived is confirmation that workplace environments will be a piece of cake.

Strong communication skills: You are an expert in conflict resolution. A skill set needed to manage employees.

Problem Solving: You managed to eliminate so many problems that could have been even more of a potential threat. Of course, you are an expert at looking at future problems that could damage a company

You have spent plenty of time examining checks and balances to eliminate potential threats.

You single-handedly took yourself from victim to survivor.

Remember Yellow jackets do not make or store honey. Bee’s do!
