Sharrica Miller is a doctorally prepared, board certified pediatric nurse practitioner with over 16 years of experience in nursing and nursing education.

After spending 12 years ofher childhood in foster care, Dr. Miller went on to obtain her BSN from Howard University and worked bedside for five years before going back to school to become a nurse practitioner. She earned her PhD from UCLA in 2017 and was named as one of five Johnson and Johnson’s Minority Nurse Faculty Scholars two years in a row.Dr. Miller is a nationally recognized speaker and DEI consultant who recently won the 2019 Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity award at California State University, Fullerton for her work as director of the Diversity Support Team.

Dr. Sharrica Miller, PhD, RN and DEI Consultant

As a former foster youth and HBCU graduate, she utilizes both a professional and personal lens to assist companies with creating and sustaining DEI initiatives. She has worked as a consultant for several notable organizations including Casey Family Foundation, Arizona Supreme Court, Indiana Center for Nursing, New York State Permanent Judicial Commission on Justice for Children, and Georgetown University.


Tandiwe Vaughn, CEO of TendiTech, LLC, Corporate Lead Instructional Designer

Tandiwe Vaughn is a Corporate Lead Instructional Designer and a business owner of TandiTech, LLC, specializing in software training and DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility) eLearning development.

As a former Educator of 15 years, she has served in various roles, such as a classroom teacher, professional development facilitator, ESC-2 consultant and grant projector director, school district instructional design and technology Specialist, and a nonprofit curriculum specialist. Also, she has a background in Social Services, serving as a social services case manager and field practice trainer for new hire employees.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and daughters, lounging on the beach and trying new cuisines.
